Blake was born in 1932 in England. During the late 1950's he became famous for his pop art, and was one of the most famous artists in pop art. His paintings included wrestlers, advertisements, and music, hall entertainment imagery. He had always had an interest in combining images. His work stands out to me because of all the bright colors mixed with old photographs, they contrast nicely.
